After moving to the United States ten years ago, I fell head over heels for coastal living and everything that comes with it especially fresh, local seafood. My vibrant personality, love for the ocean, and outgoing spirit all came together naturally. From working in restaurants in Beach Haven to casually shucking oysters at friends’ homes and parties, I discovered a true joy in sharing this love with others.
I never set out to be a chef. I just love good seafood—and I love making people smile while serving it. What started as a fun, salty side gig has turned into something bigger than I imagined. Now, I’m turning my passion into a business.
That business is Sailing Mermaid: a mobile raw oyster and clam experience that brings coastal charm, fresh flavors, and a splash of sparkle to any celebration.
